Ich hab da folgendes gefunden:
Disabled access
Arrangements can be made for passengers with accessible needs. Operators can usually arrange for staff to meet you at your departure station, accompany you to the train and see you safely on board. Similar arrangements can be made at your destination station and other stations if you need to change trains. For example, ramps can be provided for wheelchair users.
Most trains have 1 or 2 designated wheelchair spaces. You should contact the operator on your route to book a space before you travel. A list of operators' disabled assistance phone numbers can be found on page 16 of National Rail's 'rail travel for disabled people', which has lots of other useful information for people with accessible needs travelling by train.
To find out what train companies operate on your route and for more information for people with disabilities travelling by train, visit National Rail – information for disabled travellers (www.nationalrail.co.uk/passenger_services/disabled_passengers/).
Wheelchair users travel free on all public transport for London.
For more information, call Transport for London Access and Mobility on +44 (0)20 7941 4600 or email travinfo@tfl.gov.uk. If you have a textphone, contact the customer services team on +44 (0)20 7918 3500.
Das klingt doch gut.
